Aadam is a documentary photographer working between the borders of wherever a budget Ryan Air flight can get him. Having put in his notice and hopped around SE Asia and Australia. His prints sit somewhere between memory and observation — unposed, unhurried, and often shot with whatever lens was on his camera when he left for dinner.

Photography as a way of paying attention

Aadam picked up a camera 9 years ago with the help of some John Lewis discount — once the fear of damaging the gear dissipated, it was ton hand to document friends and holidays, then what started as a way to remember turned into a way of seeing.

His work leans towards the beauty of everyday life, chasing sunsets, a stranger mid-life, the scene he lays his eyes on as he's up walking up a mountain or cycling through foreign lands. He shoots almost entirely on JPEG to avoid Lightroom sucking hours of his life, everything is about living — the story is what matters.
